Plenty of sites will tell you what other patients felt. We tell you what’s true. Every credential badge on this site was checked against the issuing board’s own public registry before it appeared, and every badge names its board and its verification date — here’s exactly how. Every review is moderated before publication under published guidelines. And our rankings are never sold: payment never affects where a practice appears in organic results or what its review score says.

A directory only works when both sides win. For the practices we list, that means more than a profile page: it means verification patients actually trust, a clean citation that search and AI engines can read, and consultation requests delivered straight to the practice — not a lead auctioned to whoever pays most. Practices are our customers, not our inventory.

We would rather be complete and right in the markets we serve than thin everywhere. So we go market by market: in the metros we cover, we work to verify every surgeon and build out every profile before moving on. A patient comparing three surgeons in her city needs all three to be verified and complete — not one, plus two stubs.

Everything else follows from one rule: the day a patient can’t tell what’s earned from what’s paid for, a directory is worthless. So verification is checked at the source, moderation is never influenced by money, paid placement — where it exists — is always labeled, and we publish our policies where anyone can read them.
